About Renova

Central to Renova's operations is consultation, waste analysis and training, along with the collection, transportation and treatment of all types of waste and recyclable materials.

Our daily operations include vehicle development, waste incineration with energy recovery, collection services for housing companies, handling of hazardous waste, waste sorting, composting, soil decontamination, landfill deposition and transhipment centres for more environment-friendly waste transportation.

Renova is owned by eleven municipalities in western Sweden: Ale, Gothenburg, Härryda, Kungsbacka, Kungälv, Lerum, Mölndal, Partille, Stenungsund, Tjörn and Öckerö. Renova is commissioned to manage all household waste in all of its owner municipalities and is also responsible for its collection in most of them.

Renova also owns Kungälvs Transporttjänst AB, and is a part owner of Stenungsunds Renhållning AB. Renova has corporate customers throughout the region. National materials companies hire Renova to collect recyclable materials.
